IT Networks and Applications
The IT Edition helps IT departments to achieve highest availability of networks, servers, databases and the overall IT. The IT Edition complements IT management and monitoring products like Microsoft System Center, HP Operations Center, IBM Tivoli, NetIQ, BMC Patrol and others with fully automated, 2-way notification capabilities based on voice, SMS text messaging, Instant Messaging, Email, Paging and Fax. The IT Edition leads to shorter response time and faster mean-time-to-repair in the IT environment. Off-site notification capabilities make IT service staff more mobile and pro-active.
Facility Management
The Facility Edition consolidates and enhances notifications that are related to fire alarms, inventory control and security. It provides multi-channel notifications based on Unified Communications, tracking of notification delivery, real-time monitoring, group alarms and other features to ensure highest reliability in delivering critical or even life-saving information. The Facility Edition integrates with facility management systems as well as facility bus systems, e.g. via RS232, in order to enable the fastest triggering of critical alarm and notification processes.
Manufacturing and Production
The Industry Edition is designed for manufacturing and production sites, supporting enterprises in various verticals in their drive for operational excellence. It connects directly with Process Control and Manufacturing Execution Systems via OPC and SOAP and enables the initiation of communication and notification processes directly from business processes and manufacturing facilities. It thus accelerates Standard Operational Procedures and the communication of technical problems to service technicians and operational staff on the road and off-site. The effect is a more rapid response to critical problems and significantly shortened or even prevented production downtime.
Customer Care
The Customer Care Edition helps enterprises to save call center costs and raise their customer satisfaction index. It provides capabilities for mass incident-forward communication, e.g. via email or SMS, and integrates with help desk and incident management systems. By informing consumer or business customers pro-actively on critical problems or downtime of customer-facing systems the overall customer satisfaction is raised. At the same time informed customers are less likely to call the help desk. This leads to enormous savings of call center operational costs.
Centralized Notification Hub for the Enterprise
The Enterprise Hub Edition combines all other editions of Enterprise Alert and enables the consolidation of enterprise notification systems onto a single notification platform. The Enterprise Hub Edition provides highest scalability, redundancy and seamless integration with enterprise environments, e.g. via Active Directory.
