Matthes Derdack, Ronald Czachara and Doreen Jacobi founded Derdack in 1999. Derdack has its headquarters in Glen Allen, Virginia, and Potsdam, Germany.

Our products are entirely designed and developed in Germany and the United States.

Matthes Derdack

Matthes’ core responsibility is the vision and strategy behind Derdack and its products. At the age of 24 he gained second prize of the German innovation award “Mobile Data Communication”. He studied physics and computer science at the Humboldt-University Berlin and graduated from the Federal State University of Brandenburg, Germany, with an MBA degree specializing in Information Technology. Matthes is a member of several committees of the local chamber of commerce in Potsdam, a member of the foreign comittee of the German chamber of commerce and a member of the European Parliament of Enterprises(2010, 2014 & 2016). Matthes is also member of the board of the Berlin-Brandenburg Software&IT Association (SIBB). And as a Design Thinker he is a frequent speaker at the school of the Hasso-Plattner-Institut.

Doreen Jacobi

President and CEO Derdack Corp.

Doreen is heading Derdack’s US operations as CEO & President of Derdack Corp. Doreen graduated from the Federal State University of Brandenburg, Germany, with an MBA degree specialising in Information Technology. Before leading the US subsidiary of Derdack, Doreen has held the position of Chief Sales Officer of the German company, responsible for international sales, customer relationship management and the successful channel partner program.

Ronald Czachara

Technical Consulting and Support Lead

Ronald belongs to the most knowledgeable people in the ICT industry. He has a track record of more than 100 successful deployments of communication solutions in numerous countries and industries. Within Derdack Ronald has filled various positions and has been leading the technical consulting and support team since 2011. Ronald studied physics and computer science at the Humboldt-University Berlin.
